Hello everyone!

Some of you may already know that I’m working on putting together a charity fashion show fundraiser titled “Healing Our Roots,” sponsored by the Filipino Community of Solano County Inc. Our mission is to raise money and awareness for the typhoon victims in the Philippines who are suffering from an uncontrollable disaster. The fashion show will feature Filipino bay area/sacramento designers, performers, artists, and vendors, all coming together to support this great cause. This e-mail is to invite you and everyone you know to purchase tickets to this amazing event that my staff and I have put together for you! Details are as follows:

Date: Saturday, December 19, 2009 Time: Doors open at 6pm with cocktail hour and open seating. Show starts at 7pm-10pm. No-host bar provided by the Jesse Bethel High School Band Boosters Location: the Vallejo Community Center, 225 Amador Street, Vallejo, Ca. 94591 Tickets: Ticket prices are $25. Net proceeds will be donated to the Philippine Disaster Relief Fund How to purchase tickets: Tickets may be purchased numerous ways: - contact Brittanie Calilan (707)373-6667- e-mail HealingOurRoots@gmail.com with “Tickets” in the subject line - contact any member of our staff and/or designers, performers, etc. - tickets will be sold at the door the night of the event - tickets can also be purchased at Sign-a-Rama on Redwood St. in Vallejo Donations: We will also be accepting donations such as toys, clothes, and canned goods at the event so feel free to bring anything you think might be beneficial to those in the Philippines who are less fortunate. - If you do not purchase tickets, you can still come and donate as well!
